Coffee bags built for fresh roasts
Freshly roasted coffee keeps releasing carbon dioxide for days after roasting. A one-way degassing valve lets that gas escape so bags don’t puff up or burst, while stopping outside air from getting in and staling the beans.
Pair the valve with a high-barrier laminate that blocks moisture, oxygen and light, a resealable zipper for home storage and a style that suits your shelf: flat-bottom bags for a premium, box-like look, quad seal bags for strength on larger sizes, or stand-up pouches for smaller retail bags.

Do coffee bags need a degassing valve?
If you pack coffee soon after roasting, yes. Fresh coffee releases carbon dioxide, and a one-way valve lets it out without letting oxygen in. Without one, bags can bloat or burst, or you have to wait longer before packing.
Where should the valve go?
Usually on the front panel near the top, above the coffee line so beans don’t block it. We position it to suit your bag size and artwork and show it on your proof.
Flat-bottom or quad seal coffee bags?
Flat-bottom bags stand like a box and give you five printable panels, which makes them a favourite for premium retail. Quad seal bags have four sealed corners that add strength and structure, which suits larger and heavier bags. Both can have valves and zippers.
What size bag do I need for 340 g (12 oz) of coffee?
Bag size depends on the roast and on whether the coffee is whole bean or ground, because density changes. Tell us your fill weights and we will recommend dimensions, and we can send samples to test before you order.
Can you print short runs for single origins and seasonal blends?
Yes. Digital printing has no plate fees, so you can print several designs in one order and change origins without paying for new plates.
Can I order roll stock for my coffee packing line?
Yes. We supply printed roll stock for vertical and horizontal form-fill-seal machines.
