What is a stand-up pouch?
A stand-up pouch, also called a doypack, is a flexible bag with a folded bottom gusset. When you fill it, the gusset opens into a base so the pouch stands upright on a shelf like a box, while using far less material than a rigid container.
Our custom stand-up pouches are laminated from layers of film chosen for your product. Metallized barrier layers block moisture, oxygen and light to protect flavour and aroma, and a resealable zipper keeps everything fresh after opening. They suit granola, snacks, coffee, tea, powders, supplements, edibles and pet treats.

What size stand-up pouch do I need?
It depends on your product’s volume, not just its weight: 250 g of granola needs a much bigger pouch than 250 g of sugar. Tell us the product and fill weight and we will recommend dimensions, and we can send samples to test-fill before you order.
What is the minimum order for custom stand-up pouches?
It depends on the print method. Digital printing has no plates, so it suits shorter runs and multiple designs, while flexo and rotogravure lower the unit price on larger runs. Tell us your quantity per design and we will quote the most cost-effective option.
Can stand-up pouches be recycled?
We offer recyclable film structures as well as traditional high-barrier laminates. Whether a pouch is accepted for recycling depends on its structure and on local programs, so ask us which option fits your barrier needs and market.
Can I add a clear window?
Yes, many structures can include a clear window so shoppers can see the product. A window lets in light, so we will tell you whether it suits your product’s shelf life.
Can you print the back and the bottom gusset?
Yes. The front, back and bottom gusset can all carry your design, including nutrition panels, barcodes and regulatory text.
