Corrugated carton boxes, explained
A corrugated box is built from fluted board glued between flat linerboards. The flutes work like a row of arches, giving the box its crush strength and cushioning, which is why corrugated carton boxes are the standard for shipping and e-commerce.
Flute size sets the balance between print and protection: thin E-flute prints crisply and makes great mailer boxes, while B-flute and double-wall boards add strength for heavier shipments. Use the flute guide below to compare, or tell us what you are shipping and we will recommend a board.

What is the difference between E-flute and B-flute?
E-flute is about 1.5 mm thick, with a smooth surface that prints well, which makes it ideal for mailer boxes. B-flute is about 3 mm thick and adds crush strength and cushioning for shipping boxes.
What is a corrugated carton box?
Another name for a corrugated box: a box made from fluted board between linerboards, used for shipping, storage and e-commerce.
Folding carton or corrugated box?

Can you print inside the box?
Yes. Inside printing turns a mailer box into an unboxing moment, with messages, patterns or instructions.
Do boxes ship assembled?
